About Us
Hi Simply Dinner Lovers – I’m Annabel Langbein long-time cook and all-around food lover. One of the things I’m most proud of is our collaboration with Foodstuffs on our Simply Dinner meal kits.
We knew that New Zealanders were looking for meal solutions that would help them create tasty, affordable, and delicious meals at home, without any waste and with minimal effort, time, or money, and without being locked into a subscription model.
We needed a proposition to provide New Zealanders with fast, easy, nutritious, and affordable meal solutions, so we engaged in an exclusive partnership with Foodstuffs to redesign and pack their Simply Dinner meal kits.
As part of this initiative, we teamed up with Will & Able, a social enterprise that employs neurodiverse people, to help with packing our kits. It was a no-brainer for us to support them, just like Foodstuffs supported us.
We’re really proud of the Simply Dinner range, and when I think back to how this all started, I just can’t believe how far it’s come. The secret to its success today isn’t just our exclusive sauce recipes, but our ability to adapt, change, and collaborate. We now supply Foodstuffs stores nationwide, and we’re so grateful to the team who believed in us. Our customers are at the front and centre of everything we do, and we’re always trying to come up with better solutions to help ease their busy lives and enable them to feel more resilient, more on top of life, so that they can spend time doing the things they want, like enjoying time together around the table with a yummy meal.
